Kingant UQ-25 underground dump truck performed well in field trialsIssuing time:2021-08-11 16:59 ![]() On August 10, the Mining Expert Academic Committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Society held a product appraisal meeting for the UQ-25 underground dump truck independently developed by Hubei Jincheng Chengxin. The reason why an agreement was successfully reached and passed was because the product was at the production site before it was submitted for appraisal. The test run lasted for more than 8 months and solid test data was obtained. As we all know, mining trucks play an important transportation role in mine construction, especially the reliability of the braking system, which is related to mine safety and mine construction efficiency. As the country's requirements for mine safety are getting higher and higher, the disadvantages of dry braking are becoming increasingly obvious. Taking into account the working environment of the mine, Hubei Jincheng Chengxin initiated and developed a 25T mine truck in 2020. After more than 200 days and nights of vehicle research, data analysis, and functional testing, the first UQ-25 wet brake underground dump truck was born at the Miyun Innovation Factory in Beijing at the end of December of that year. In early January this year, the vehicle was put into the Lujiang Project Department for field testing. Before the vehicle went down the mine, a strict vehicle test plan was formulated and a test working group was established to be responsible for test data recording, equipment maintenance and upkeep, and focused testing on braking and steering when going downhill and turning. After more than five months of continuous testing underground, it has been running smoothly and has met the design requirements. At the project site, it has shown many advantages such as large braking torque, stable and reliable performance, good heat dissipation, reasonable structure, low friction, and long service life. Based on the solid test data obtained during the test run of the first vehicle, the preparation and production of the second UQ-25 underground dump truck began in full swing. Combining the production and testing experience of the first car, the trial production personnel conducted further testing and optimization of the car, and it was officially rolled off the assembly line at the end of April this year. During this period, personnel from the National Safety Standards Center conducted a five-day on-site inspection and safety test on the vehicle at the Hubei Daye manufacturing workshop, reviewed and evaluated the technical data, and conducted preliminary safety certification, and in July Obtained the mining product safety mark certificate on the 5th. Immediately afterwards, the third KAT 25-ton truck rolled off the assembly line at the end of May. The carriage structure adopts a new design, with the structural strength increased by 25%, impact resistance increased by 18%, and wear-resistant service life increased by 15%. In June, the vehicle directly joined the production equipment army at the Lujiang Project Department. Since the end of last year, three 25T wet brake mining trucks have been put into trial use in the Lujiang project department. Through various tests, they have shown obvious advantages in terms of power, braking performance, electrical system and vehicle structure and have reached The design requirements, especially the braking method, fully comply with the national requirements for underground vehicle braking. Recently, the UQ-25 underground dump truck has entered the small batch production stage based on the appraisal opinions of an expert group at the Jinantuo Equipment Factory at the Daye Base of Jincheng Chengxin in Hubei Province. The self-produced and small-batch production of the UQ-25 underground dump truck is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Hubei Jincheng Chengxin team, and is another important breakthrough in the company's mechanical equipment sector. I believe that the KingAnt team will continue to make new improvements and breakthroughs in mechanical equipment and make shining contributions to the perfect start of the company's "Fifth Five-Year Strategy".
